This Daniel & Webster Art 11x14 framed print features the 1951 special delivery stamp highlighting 20 and 20 in the lower and upper corners (just in time for 2020). In the background a vintage map of Milwaukee and calendar to note the new year. Special Delivery stamps were pre-payments added to the regular “lawful postage” for an extra service – immediate delivery of a letter within one mile of any special delivery post office. These special post offices were those with free routine delivery service or in larger communities with 4,000 or more people.
The original 69-year-old unused/uncirculated stamp included on back of the frame.
